Honouring Our Founder Daryl
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Founder and CEO, Daryl Ammann, on May 8th, 2025.
Daryl was more than the founder of D&D Dixy Trucking Inc., — he was its heart, its vision, and the driving force behind everything we’ve built. From the very beginning, Daryl led with integrity, determination, and a deep respect for people. His commitment to excellence and service shaped not only our company but the lives of all who had the privilege to work with him or know him.
As we honor Daryl’s memory and carry forward his life’s work, we want to share that Diane Ammann, his partner in both life and business, will step in as CEO. Diane has been instrumental in the success and spirit of D&D Dixy Trucking Inc., from the very beginning and is deeply committed to continuing the legacy and mission Daryl started 43 years ago.
Supporting her in this transition is Natalie Thompson, who will continue to serve as CEO Liaison and lead our customer relation efforts as well as dispatching. Natalie worked closely with Daryl and will continue leading with the same strength, care, and values that Daryl embodied. The D&D team is committed to providing the same quality service that you have come to know.
